Salam dear fellow Afghans and friends of Afghanistan,
For years, the team of Afghan German
Online (AGO),
supported by its readers, has tried to promote the
recovery of Afghanistan.
"One percent help instead of 100 percent pity" - that's our
motto now
when we do a straight step to the recovery of Afghanistan with YOU.
For some time, there does exist our international website www.afghan-german.com
beside our german site www.afghan-german.de
.
Afghans all over the world can become closer to each other -despite of
great distances- using our expanding services.
Furthermore, they can be informed about our country and our people,
even in our languages Pashto and Dari.
Therfore it is necessary to update and expand our contents and to maintain our
technical equipment.
In the long run, we cannot achive this tasks in our free time.

At the same time, many unemployed people in Afghanistan/Kabul don't know
how to support their families.
For this reason we and our readers have developed a project.
We plan to employ one or two people in Kabul to reach:
* the creation of 1 or 2 jobs to support securing the people's livelihood
wisely
* training the staff on new information technologies
* information directly from Kabul, always up-to-date
* improving the technical equipment used for both of our web presences
* relief of our team in Germany
* education in the IT-sector (a long-term goal)
* foundation of an AGO
education center to strenghten the communal spirit
without influencing the political convictions of the young generation
and to help it establishing a democratic society step by step (a long-term
goal)
In order to achive this aims more professionally, one of our
administrators
has founded the AGO-IT-Center
in Kabul. So the requirements of infastructure
and necessary help are met.
Furthermore, our second administrator Qais jan (Karlsruhe) and our
long-standing
member Andreas Landgraf (Munich) do plan to come to Kabul in the month of
Mai at their own expense to start the project.
To ensure the long-term-success of the project, to inform you the best way
and also to support you in the context of all of your questions concerning
Afghanistan we do need your support urgently.
Until April 2006, we plan to collect 2006 Euros, in order to secure the
salary of two emloyees for one year. We have choosen this sum as a good
start into the year 2006 and we are sure to achieve this aim of collectin
2006 Euros with yout contribution.
However, we are not opposed to reaching the next millennium (3000 Euros or
more...) to start the education program even faster.
So help us to help Afghanistan - and you will experience the fruits of
your donation growing!
